My one-man-band Bird Radio is now on Myspace! www.myspace.com/birdradio

Mikey Kirkpatrick performs solo and in collaborations from street to stage, composes, teaches and produces artists under his recording company Avocado Music.

My solo work explores multiple genres, breath, and operating as a one man band with modified instruments as well as flutes, effects processing and vocals.

Jazz, Folk and World music inspires original compositions in my drum and flute duo Zashiki Warashi with Japanese drummer Akinori Fujimoto.

Soundscapes, live electronics and experimental compositions are the focus of duo Skan.

Movement and performance is the subject of my performances with dancer Lucia Tong.

I am proud to be a member of the Working Classical Music Orchestra

I initiated recording business Avocado Music Productions with Jeremy Creighton Herbert in 2002, since when we have worked as composers, creative mentors and producers for ourselves and a broad spectrum of artists, keeping quality and originality deeply ingrained in our ethos.
